Download E-Admit Card 2012 for UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam


The Union Public Service Commission is conducting the the Civil Services Preliminary Exam on 20th May, 2012 across several venues in the country.Earlier the UPSC had invited the applications for the exam in February 2012.Those students who have successfully registered for this exam can download their E-Admit cards from the Official UPSC Website (www.upsc.gov.in)

How to Download the E Admit Cards for UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2012 ?


Students looking for UPSC E Admit Cards 2012 must go through the procedure given below for Downloading the Admit cards.

Step No. 1

Open the Official Website: E-Admit cards can be downloaded only from the UPSC Official Website (www.upsc.gov.in). After opening the Official Website, students will have to Click on the Link marked as " e-Admit Card-Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam.,2012 " in the Whats's New column

After that students will have to scroll down to the bottom of the page and For Downloading the E Admit Card Click on the " Click Here " : Link.On the New page, students Will have to open the appropriate Link for Downloading the E-Admit Cards for UPSC Civil Services Exam 2012.This will open the E-Admit card Download page

 Step No. 2

Enter Your Details: After opening the E-Admit card download page, students will have three modes for downloading the E Admit card, viz, By Registration ID, By Name, By Roll Number.Students will have to enter the necessary details and then click on the Submit button.

Step No. 3

Taking the Print-out: After downloading the E-Admit card for Civil Services Exam 2012, candidates are required to take the Print-out of the Admit card as the same will have to be produced at the time of the examination.Students must remember that No Paper Copy of Admit cards will be sent to candidates.

Step No. 4

Identity Verification: In case the,  Photograph of the candidate is not visible or available on the E-Admit card, candidates will have to carry two Photographs with them along with Identity Proof such as Voter ID, Driving License etc at the time of Examination

Note: Candidates are advised in their own interest to download the E-Admit cards much earlier and don't wait for the Last date in order to avoid the last minute rush.
