IBPS, a name that came in news in July 2011, when the organization had issued the Notification for the First Ever Common Written Exam for the Selection of Probationary Officers in the 19 Public Sectior banks of India. First IBPS Exam was a big success, 14 lakh students registered for the exam, 10 lakh students appeared in the  exam and 1.10 lakh students have qualified the exam

These students are now applying for PO Jobs in 19 Public sector banks of India.The Recruitment process is going on and will continue till the scorecard is valid.Then IBPS had issued the Notification for Common Written Exam for Clerks in the last week of August 2011.This exam even saw a huge response from the candidates and 44 lakh students registered for this exam, out of which 30 lakh students had appeared in the exam.The results were declared on the last day of February, in which 5.31 lakh students have been declared as successful

Clerk Jobs in Public Sector banks

There is a huge demand of Clerical staff in the Public Sector banks.The main reason for such a massive recruitment is the retirement of large number Employees in 2012-13 and opening of new bank branches.So any one who aspires bank clerical Job this year or in the coming 2-3 years had a good Chance to fulfill his / her cherished  dream.Owing to such a massive requirement of staff in Public Sector banks, the Government of India had given the responsibility to IBPS to conduct the Common Written Exam for students on the behalf of Banks

IBPS Clerk Exam 2012

IBPS Clerk Common Written Exam is the only gateway to get a Clerical Job in any of the 19 Participating Public Sector banks.Since the IBPS Clerk Exam is to be conducted twice an year, so we can expect the next IBPS Clerk Exam to be conducted in the month of August-September 2012.

The Notification for the Next IBPS Clerk Exam 2012 will be published online at the IBPS Official Website (www.ibps.in) and will also be published in the Employment News-Papers.Although there is no official announcement on the dates of the Publication of IBPS Clerk Exam Notification 2012, but it is expected that it is will be announced in the month of May-June 2012

IBPS Clerk Vacancy in 2012

It is expected that Public Sector banks will announce their Recruitment Notifications for the Clerk Vacancy in 2012 and even some banks have rolled out their Recruitment Process.The First bank to announce Clerk Vacancy in 2012 is the Bank of Baroda that had invited applications for 2000 vacancies from the successful students in the IBPS Clerk Exam 2012
