Reserve Bank of India is going to conduct the Written exam (WE) for the Selection of Assistants on 29th April 2012.It is after so many years that RBI is conducting recruitment in clerical cadre.Since the minimum qualification for this exam is graduation, so it is getting massive response from the students.The Online Registration for the RBI Assistant Exam concluded on 25th March, 2012.

RBI Exam Pattern and Selection Procedure
- The Selection Procedure for RBI Assistant Exam 2012 shall consists of a Written Exam (WE) and Interview.
- The Written Exam is objective in nature and shall consists of 200 Question covering different sections
- The Date of Written Exam is tentatively scheduled on 29th April, 2012
- Students must note that they have to secure minimum marks in each of the Objective tests separately.
- Apart from passing each of the sections individually, students must note that they must try to rank higher in merit list because only those candidates who rank higher in merit list will be called for the Interview
- Final Selection is done by adding the marks secured by the Candidate in the Written Exam and Interview taken together.
RBI Assistant Exam Syllabus 2012
RBI will conduct the Written Exam for the Assistants on 29th April 2012.Students who have applied for this exam must go through the Syllabus carefully and accordingly prepare for the exam.
The RBI Assistant Written Exam is no different from other bank Clerical exams and follows the same pattern as we have in SBI Clerk exams and IBPS Clerk Exam.So those students who are have either appeared or preparing for these exam must have known the syllabus of these exam.So let us have a look about the Composition of the Written Exam of RBI.
The RBI Written Exam will have following 5 Objective tests:
- Test of Reasoning
- Test of English
- Test of Numerical Ability
- Test of General Awareness
- Test of Computer Knowledge
Note:
- Each test shall have 40 Questions and each question carries 1 mark.
- There will be deduction of 0.25 marks for every marked wrong answer.
