Recruitment of Probationary Officers in Syndicate Bank based on IBPS Score

Syndicate bank, one the participating banks in the IBPS Common Written Exam for Probationary Officers has invited applications for the Recruitment of Probationary Officers in Syndicate bank based on the IBPS Score of the successful candidates in the IBPS CWE for Probationary Officers. Earlier IBPS PO Result 2011 for probationary officers was declared on 12th December, 2011 and approximately 1.10 lakh students are declared successful in the IBPS PO Exam.

Syndicate bank invites application from the successful candidates who have been issue Valid IBPS Score Card in IBPS PO Exam 2011 that was held on 18th September 2011 and 13th November 2011(Supplementary), for which the results were declared by IBPS on 12th December, 2012.The successfully candidates must have the below mentioned eligibility criteria.

Nationality: Indian

IBPS Score: Will be Provided later (Check After some time)

Number of Vacancies: 1750 posts (UR-885, SC-262, ST-131, OBC-472) (PWD-54)

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates who would like to apply for the PO vacancy in Syndicate banks must fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria:

Age Limit: 21-30 years (Age Relaxation as per rules of Government of India)

Educational Qualifications:Interested Candidates must have the following educational qualifications.

A Graduate Degree from a recognized Indian University with minimum 55 % marks (For Gen and OBC candidates) and 50 % (For Others)

Essential Qualification: IBPS Score Obtained in the IBPS CWE for PO and MT Exam 2011

For General Candidates: Total Weighted Score of 138 or more out of 250

For SC/ST/OBC/PWD: Total Weighted Score of 125 or moreout of 250

Application Fee: A Non-Refundable Application fees of Rs 50 (For SC/ST/PWD) and Rs 200 (For Others including OBC) will have to be deposited in any of the branches of the Syndicate bank through a challan form that can be downloaded from the Syndicate bank's Official Website


Selection Procedure: The Selection Procedure for the Recruitment of Probationary Officers in Syndicate bank will be based on the Total Weighted Score (TWS) obtained in the IBPS PO/MT CWE that was conducted by IBPS in September/November 2011.

Interview: Depending upon the number of applications received for the PO Post in Syndicate bank, the bank reserves the right to invite only those candidates who score sufficiently higher in the IBPS PO Exam.

Venues for the Interview: The address of the venues for the Interview will be published on the Website of Syndicate bank, one week before the commencement of the date of the Interview.
