Recruitment of Specialist Officers By 19 Public Sector Bank through a Common Written Exam to be Conducted by IBPS
Institute of banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), today published its notification on the Official Website for the Recruitment of Specialist Officers in 19 Public Sector banks of India through a Common Written Exam, that is likely to be held in the month of March, 2011.Earlier IBPS had successfully conducted the Common Written Exam for Probationary Officers and Clerks in September, 2011 and Nov-Dec 2011 respectively.
As all of us know that banking sector is moving from General to Specialist, so there is need of Specialist Officers in the banks and for this purpose IBPS had received mandate from the 19 Public Sector Banks to conduct a Common Written Exam for Specialist Officers on their behalf.Here is Complete List of Participating Banks in IBPS CWE for Specialist Officers
IBPS Will Conduct the Common Written Exams for the post of the following Specialized Officers
- Post Code: 01 -I.T. Officer (Scale-I)
- Post Code: 02-Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I)
- Post Code: 03-Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I)
- Post Code: 04-Law Officer (Scale I)
- Post Code: 05-Technical Officer (Scale I)
- Post Code: 06-HR/Personnel Officer (Scale I)
- Post Code: 07-Marketing Officer (Scale I)
- Post Code: 08-I.T. Officer (Scale-II)
- Post Code: 09-Law Officer (Scale II)

Dates for Online Registration: 30.12.2011 to 21.01.2012
Payment of Application Fees: 29.12.2011 to 20.01.2012
Eligibility Criteria: Interested candidates who wish to apply for any of the above mentioned post by the means of Common Written Exam to be conducted by IBPS, must full fill the below mentioned eligibility criteria.It must be noted that merely satisfying the IBPS Eligibility criteria, does not guarantee that to you meet the eligibility criteria of all the individual candidates.Candidates must keep in mind they they are allowed to apply for only one post at a time.Those candidates who will submit multiple application, there candidature is most likely to be canceled.
Nationality : Must be an Indian Citizen.
Age Limit: For Scale-I Officers (Min : 20 years and Max: 35 years) and For Scale-II Officers (Min : 21 years and Max: 40 years).
Experience: No Experience for Scale-I Officers and For Scale II Officers (I.T. Officer (Scale-II)-- 1 year and Law Officer (Scale II)--3 years
Educational Qualification (As on 1.12.2011): Since the applications are invited for 7 different posts of Specialized officers, so their educational Qualification will differ.For list List of Educational Qualifications, candidates must check the detailed eligibility criteria in the Advt, given at the end of this post.

Application Fees: An application fees of Rs 50 (For SC/ST and PWD) candidates and Rs 450/- (For All Others) will have to paid by two modes i.e Online mode as well as Offline mode.
