Changing Recruitment Pattern for Bank Exams in India or Common Entrance Test for Bank Exams in India:
There will be a common entrance test for Bank exams in India.IBPS will conduct the Common Entrance test.There are 19 public sector banks that will participate in the common recruitment Process.Although SBI has decided to stay away from the process.The exam will be conducted 3-4 times a year and there will be a validity of 1 or 1½ years.Students will be given a scorecard and they can apply for Bank job notification for banks that have issued the notification

Last date of Online Registration:August 1 2011
Date of Written Exam: 18th September 2011
Eligibility:
Age Limit: 20 to 30 years
Educational Qualifications:Graduate from any Recognized University
Selection Procedure or Exam Pattern: The Exam pattern is very much similar to Bank Recruitment Exams.There will be both Objective as well as descriptive exam and weight age of both the exams in 250.

- There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer
After Submitting the Application form candidates will receive the Registration Number and Password in the Email.

- A working Phone No./Mobile Number with SMS Facility for receiving Updates
- Scanned Photo and Scanned Signature

Sir, its very useful & informative post.. I'm from an engineering background & unto my last year.
