Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Himachal Pradesh in conjugation with Himachal Pradesh School Education Society has invited applications from interested  persons for 182 Special Educator Posts on contract basis in different districts of HP

Name of the Post:Special Educator for Children With Special Needs

Number of Vacancies:182 (check the Advt. for District wise Vacancies.

Pay Scale: Rs. -7500 /- per month (May be revised /increased)

Age Limit:18-45 years (Relaxable by 5 years for Scheduled Tribe & Scheduled Caste).

Essential Qualification:A Person desirous of applying for the Post of Special Educator must possess the following Qualifications:

He /She must posses XIIth passed and Two year Diploma Programme in Special Education in any
of the category of disability
· XIIth passed and One year diploma programme in Special Education in any of the category of
disability + 3 years experience
· Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) in Special Education in any of the category

OR

· Any other equivalent qualification approved by RCI.
· M.Ed. Special Education
· B.Ed. Special Education
· PG Diploma course in Special Education
· Diploma in Special Education / D.TEd. With Diploma in Special Education
· Associate Degree in Special Education
· Diploma in Early Childhood Special Education
· Diploma in Teaching Young Hearing Impaired
· Junior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf
· Senior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf
· B.Ed in General Education with Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Special Education
· Secondary level Teacher Training course in Visual Impairment
· PG Diploma in Special Education (Multiple Disabilities: Physical & Neurological)
· Senior Diploma in Special Education
· Junior Diploma in Special Education
· B.Ed Integrated courses
· Bachelors/ Masters in Rehabilitation Sciences
· Diploma in Vocational Rehabilitation
· Diploma ion Hearing and Language and Speech
· Diploma in Vocational Training in Mental Retardation
· Or any other degree / diploma recognized by RCI

Procedure for Applying:Interested candidates should send their resume /curriculum vitae /Bio –Data neatly written/typed inplain paper along with attested passport size photo and photocopies of testimonials showing eligibility/additional qualifications to the o/o the District Project Officer cum Principal DIET(SSA), of the concerned district latest by 15th July 2011. Incomplete applications will be rejected & applications received after due date will not be entertained
