ISRO conducted SCIENTISTS/ENGINEERS 'SC' on April 16, 2011 and its answer key would be published at http://www.isro.org/scripts/job.aspx, within a couple of days.
As far as question paper for ISRO 16-4-2011 is concerned, a lot of candidates have confirmed that this exam was similar to GATE exam and even the level of question was same in the level of difficulty as well.

Paper Level was good...mainly the questions were not direct..you have to have thorough knowledge of the subject for this kind of paper..

answer for this is b->2
cuz the one which requests for i/o gets switched and d one waiting in ready q gets switched to get processor. so totally 2 process switches
the paper was easy.but the way of the questions for simple concepts are difficult.i am awaiting for the electronics answer key.

Phani thats a good score,but most of the people r getting same score, means 50% probability, also we should consider other set guys, why don't u people upload set a question paper, so that we can know other people score, i posting from mobile net,otherwise i would have........

1. a microprocessor with 12 bit addressbus -- 0.4 kB nt 4KB as provided by you...its asking how much kilobytes nt kilobits..
2.ans. of unity gain frequency n the alpha cutoff frequency should be 200 MHZ ,199MHZ.. bt u"ve given the ans 201MHZ,200MHZ
3.if number of bits increased by 2,SNR must be increased by 12 dB.u"ve given decreases by 12 dB..because ther quantization noise power decreases by 12 dB.hence SNR increases by 12 dB..
4. transconductance of FET should be 1ST option...u"ve given 2nd.check dt agn.....

hello phani.apply ur presence of mind yr.i"ve already given there the reason for those answers...so again check.im 1000% confident doze 5 ans r wrong.nd by d way i"ve scored 63 in gate 2011 n just ystrdy selected for NPCIL interview.....s
guy criticizing phani,disclose ur identity first, u already gave explanation abt answers and phani told his opinion, there is no need to prolong things and don't play with other's confidence. Let's see who will get selected, if u r that much confident, give ur isro hallticket no, and we also will know ur greatness.

fT=beta*f(beta)=200Mhz.
To find f(alpha), use (alpha)*f(alpha)=fT

dear Friends... results are out...u can get it from ISRO website..ISRO has given a list...in which the marks of all the candidates are given accordingly( even candidates with -ve marks are in the list)...the list of eligible candidates will be known only by august 2011...that is what i came to understand!!!...but does anyone know...how much candidates will be called for the interview??..atleast based on last year statistics!!!???

hi are you sure that they ll call only till 400..for ece? i got 124..and my rank is 624..wont i have a chance?pls tell me..
see im nt sure..generally they call on 1:3 basis...still 50 ppl r dere from last year selection to get the call letter..so i hope maximum 110-120 seats for this year..so the number of candidates for interview must be within 300-400...its my intuition...if they"ll call more then its good...lets hope 4 d best..
guys..any chance for me to qualify as i`ve got 100 marks in computer sc. and rank is around 700..i feel vacancies must have increased else y wud they allow 15000 people to give the exam,moreover with almost negligible exam fee..

i guess something is going to happen about this recruitment only after aug 1st...as they will consider the vacancies till aug 1st...i dont think all in the list are eligible...that will be ridiculous...they will consider the total posts on aug 1st...and maybe will call candidates in 1:4 or 1:5 ratio..ie if totals seats are 100...maybe they will call 400 or 500...this is what i think..i am not sure about the exact ratios they are gonna call...so all we can do is to pray for maximum number of vacancies..!!!...

NOTE : Candidates will be short-listed for interview to the extent of operable vacancies as on 01/08/2011 in the order of merit with respect to marks secured in the written test held on 16/04/2011
But I have not got any call for interview. How can i know if the call letters for interviews are dispatched or has any one received interview call. kindly reply.
